![]() 7/2023 - Hi, I am TBBR Alumni Scarlett's (Daisy XI) mom. I adopted her in June of 2014. I wanted to let you know that she passed away on Wednesday, the 28th. She was about 16 years old we think. She was surrounded by me and her dad and the whole vet staff at our vet. She knew she was loved until the very end. For the last 3 years, Scarlett was going to cold laser therapy and acupuncture appointments. She had degenerative disc disease, but she was a tough cookie. Without this organization, I would have never had my best friend. Thank you for all you do. Maybe in the future, when my heart hurts a little less, we can become fosters or even adopt again. I think we just need a bit of time. Scarlett was one of a kind and loved more than words can describe. ![]() 2/23/2023 - Our precious Rosco boy crossed the Rainbow Bridge yesterday. He lived a long and healthy life, and Todd and I were with him until he took his final breath and closed his eyes for the last time. Rosco came to us through the good work of the Tampa Bay Beagle Rescue. He had lived most of his life with an elderly woman, and when she passed away, her family came to collect what they wanted of her belongings and then dropped her dog, Rosco, at a shelter. Thanks to TBBR, Rosco was quickly fostered out of the shelter, and within months, we met him at an adoption event and took him home the same day. The day he came to live with us was the day our house became a home. Rosco boy… I could say all of the things that people say about good boys - and you were as good as they come - but mostly I want to say thank you. Thank you for loving us. Thank you for allowing us, even late in your life, to bring other good boys who needed a home into our home. And most of all, thank you for making us a family. You are among the very best things that has ever happened to us, and we are changed - we are better - because you were ours. Run free, my bestest boy. We love you so much. ![]() 1/11/2023 - We adopted Tracker on a cold rainy Saturday in January 2010. He certainly came with his share of challenges, but with patience, time and a lot of love he became the happy boy we always knew he could be. He spent nine years on ten acres in Punta Gorda, Florida. Then he, Buddy and Heidi moved to Vermont. Tracker loved being in Vermont, sitting by the campfires, and just doing what beagles like to do. He even adapted well to the snow. We all miss you Tracks, you will always have a special place in our hearts. ![]() 12/19/2022 - Our two beautiful Beagles: Myst and Meadow, whom we adopted in December of 2011 have crossed the Bridge. Myst passed in January of this year from renal failure and Meadow passed away this last Saturday morning (Dec 2022) from unknown ailments. She was at home. They were our treasures for all that time. Enjoyed dog parks and walks in our neighborhood. Every Sunday I would take them for a walk of at least a mile, and they enjoyed sniffing all the critters who had been on our route, and meeting other puppies and their owners. In later years, we moved to a condo and they had more companions that they knew how to handle. Which was fine by them. We'll miss them greatly! ![]() 8/20/22 - Our little girl Sasha who was adopted with the named Mulan back in 2008 has crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. Sasha was such a joy. She was always happy, very sweet, smart as can be, and loving. She always had a way of bringing a smile to your face and was so intuitive. We miss her so very much, but she is in a better place now. We had 14 good years with her and we are grateful Click a letter to find an animal or view all.
