Penny IV wandered up to the house of a very kind and caring couple begging for them to help her. She had been shot in the paw - there was a hole clean through her paw with an exit wound the size of a quarter!! They took her for emergency vet care and have patiently cared for her during her recovery. The broken bones in her paw have healed and the hole in her paw is filling in nicely. Her splint is off and she is expected to make a full recovery! She is now looking for her forever home and her foster family has this to say about her:

- She is completely house trained.
- She is the sweetest, most loving dog with a submissive personality!
- Beautiful mouth and teeth.
- She started responding to her new name within a few days so she's very smart!
- She has obviously been raised indoors and seems to want to go into our dogs' crate so she's possibly crate trained.
