Zane is the cutest beagle around! His coat is super soft and he loves to cuddle. He has black spots around his eyes so my family likes to say he is a pirate or rocker. Although he is a bit too congenial to be a 'bad' guy.
  He loves climbing. He likes exploring every inch of the backyard and then coming inside to relax. He listens very well and usually will come when we call his name. He really enjoys being part of the family and wants to be involved with what everyone is doing. One of his favorite past times is to collect several dog toys and put them around the dog bed in the room where the family is hanging out. He is known to transfer toys from one room to the next.

Zane gets along great with his foster -sister dogs and will jump on the bed to lay with them. He plays very well with the big (70 lb) sister-dog and he will initiate a chase game at least once a day with her. He appears to be totally housebroken, has shown no aggression in the home for any reason, and is quite mannerly.

He knows what people food is about and had to be told 'Off' when we sat down to eat (he wanted to say the blessing with us and share the food), but he listened well. When watching T.V. and snacking, Zane would come and sit quietly next to the person eating and look at them with his beautiful puppy-dog eyes. He is quite the gentleman.

All of our animals are sterilized, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested/treated for heartworm disease before adoption.
