Alberto is a timid little 2 year old boy, but he continues to come out of his shell a little more every day. He is not very cuddly so far, but he does love his belly rubs and chest rubs. He rolls over to request them from you. He seems to come out of his shell significantly outside. Running, playing and shredding anything he can get his mouth on outside seem to be his favorite things. He has also now began picking up dog toys in the house, but they do not keep his attention for too long. He definitely needs a super secure yard and supervision outside since he explores and runs everywhere. He is not a fan of leash walking yet, but he has been improving day by day after finding a secure harness for him. He growled the first time he met my dogs, but since then he has clung to them. He spends the day in a crate while I am at work and sleeps in one at night. He has come to work with me today and has been an angel inside his crate and loving the attention. He has only whimpered a couple of times and then he goes to sleep. He has not had any accidents in the crate and only one in the house. I think he will do well in a home with a younger dog who he can play with. I also think he will be goods with kids as long as they can be gentle since he is so small.

Alberto came from a hoarding situation.  He has never been an only dog and is learning how to be in a house and walk on a leash.  He is timid.  

All of our animals are sterilized, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested/treated for heartworm disease before adoption.
