Papa​ ​is​ ​a​ ​sweetheart​ ​of​ ​a​ ​senior​ ​who​ ​is​ ​looking​ ​for​ ​a​ ​low​ ​energy​ ​home​ ​to​ ​spend​ ​his​ ​golden​ ​years.​ ​He​ ​is​ ​just​ ​slightly​ ​bigger​ ​than​ ​the​ ​average​ ​beagle​ ​so​ ​he​ ​is​ ​likely​ ​a​ ​beagle​ ​mix​ ​(possibly​ ​with​ ​lab).​ ​Papa​ ​gets​ ​along​ ​with​ ​other​ ​dogs,​ ​although​ ​he​ ​has​ ​had​ ​issues​ ​with​ ​food/resource​ ​aggression​ ​and​ ​may​ ​be​ ​better​ ​suited​ ​to​ ​be​ ​an​ ​only​ ​dog.​ ​He​ ​has​ ​been​ ​good​ ​with​ ​cats.​ ​He​ ​doesn’t​ ​run​ ​or​ ​play,​ ​but​ ​loves​ ​pets​ ​and​ ​cuddles​ ​on​ ​the​ ​couch​ ​and​ ​will​ ​lay​ ​near​ ​you,​ ​wherever​ ​you​ ​are.​ ​Papa​ ​is​ ​house​ ​trained​ ​and​ ​very​ ​quiet.​ ​He​ ​does​ ​bark​ ​in​ ​a​ ​crate​ ​but​ ​will​ ​stop​ ​after​ ​a​ ​bit​ ​and​ ​go​ ​to​ ​sleep.​ ​He​ ​is​ ​heart​ ​worm​ ​positive​ ​but​ ​has​ ​completed​ ​his​ ​treatment.​ ​If​ ​you​ ​are​ ​looking​ ​for​ ​a​ ​mellow​ ​guy​ ​with​ ​lots​ ​of​ ​love​ ​to​ ​give,​ ​he​ ​is​ ​your​ ​man.​ ​

All of our animals are sterilized, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested/treated for heartworm disease before adoption.
